OM ideas 5: Measuring Progress in conflict prevention: GPPAC’s adaptation of Outcome Mapping

Goele Scheers, Edited by Kaia Ambrose, Jenny Aulin

Summary: The Global Partnership for the Prevention of Armed Conflict (GPPAC) is faced with two major challenges in their monitoring and evaluation: Firstly they have to deal with the complex causal mechanisms involved in conflict prevention work and secondly they have to navigate the dynamic nature of networks through which they intervene. This paper, published by the Outcome Mapping Learning Community, describes how Outcome Mapping has helped GPPAC manage these challenges.
