Outcome Harvesting

Summary: Outcome Harvesting is a utilisation-focused, highly participatory tool that enables evaluators, grant makers, and managers to identify, formulate, verify, and make sense of outcomes they have influenced when relationships of cause-effect are unknown. Unlike some evaluation methods, Outcome Harvesting does not measure progress towards predetermined outcomes or objectives, but rather collects evidence of what has been achieved, and works backward to determine whether and how the project or intervention contributed to the change.

Summary: Cosecha de Alcances es una herramienta centrada en la utilización y altamente participativo que permite a evaluadores, donantes y gerentes de proyectos y programas identificar, formular, verificar y dar sentido a los alcances en que han influido en situaciones cuando las relaciones de causa-efecto son desconocidos. A diferencia de unos métodos de evaluación, la Cosecha de Alcances no mide el progreso hacia objetivos o alcances predeterminados sino que recoge la evidencia de lo que se ha logrado, y trabaja hacia atrás para determinar si y cómo el proyecto o intervención contribuyó al cambio.
