Summary: This guidance document was originally developed by the BRACED Knowledge Manager M&E team in March 2015 as an internal version for BRACED Implementing Partners (version 1.0). Its aim was to enhance the quality of BRACED project-level monitoring and evaluation during set-up, and align this to programme-level M&E.

Note 3 (page 39) describes the use of Outcome Mapping to monitor four ‘Areas of Change’ (partnerships, knowledge, inclusive decision making, and capacity) as a part of a broader M&E system.
