Summary:

This project is being implemented by the Africa Innovation Institute, in collaboration with the School of Women and Gender Studies, Department of Geography, the Medical School and School of Veterinary Medicine Makerere University, and Gulu University in Uganda. The purpose of the project is to contribute to improved food and health security and environmental sustainability in the Nakaseke and Nakasongola districts. This is being done by developing and enhancing community-based climate variability adaptation initiatives and supportive policy measures to specifically improve food and health security among rural communities in the Ugandan cattle corridor.
