Outcome Mapping for Program and Project Planning

This is a 3-day introduction to the principles and tools of Outcome Mapping, with emphasis on their application to the planning phase of development projects and programs.

It is designed for program managers, desk officers and field staff from community, national and international development organizations who are looking for effective ways to plan, monitor and evaluate the dynamics of change in complex environments. The workshop will utilize participatory exercises which participants apply to their own work challenges. Day 1 will focus on introducing the theory and key concepts of OM; day 2 on applying the 7 steps of intentional design; and day 3 on assessing and adapting OM for the needs and circumstances of participants' own working environments. The facilitators will bring to this workshop the lessons and insights from recent OM training and practitioner experience in Africa, Asia and Latin America.

When emailing Marieke Dikken to register, please put "Outcome Mapping Registration" as the subject.
