A 4-day workshop introducing the principles and practice of Outcome Mapping for planning, monitoring and evaluation of development programmes. This course is offered in two parts for which participants can register separately. The first part of the course (2,5 days) will focus on the Intentional Design stage of Outcome Mapping. The second part of the course (1,5 day) will cover the monitoring stage of OM-based programmes and illustrate how OM principles can be used for evaluations (incl. Outcome Harvesting).
During the OM introduction course (2,5 days/ 27-29 June 2016) participants will learn:
• The basic principles and concepts of Outcome Mapping
• How to formulate and apply the 7 steps of the OM Intentional Design
• How individual OM elements can be used in existing programmes
• How OM can be used in combination with the logical framework
During the course on the M&E stages of Outcome Mapping (1,5 day/ 29-30 June 2016), participants will learn:
• The basic principles of M&E in Outcome Mapping
• How to develop an M&E plan for an OM-designed programme
• How OM principles can be used within internal or external evaluation processes (incl. Outcome Harvesting)
